Folks back home still waiting on communications with Sharon & Amanda

Life in the village of Concepcion del Norte, Honduras is a world apart from life here in the USA.  Knowing Sharon and Amanda the way I do, they are up to their armpits in children and families in the project and have not been able to get themselves acclimated into communications with all of us back in the States.  As we all wait for news of their adventures and situations they uncover in the village, please keep them in your thoughts and prayers!

The Service team will be departing early next Tuesday July 6th, to meet up with Sharon and Amanda at the airport in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. The primary focus of this group will be to prepare the newly rented property in the village of Concepcion del Norte to become a Guaderia- ‘Los Angelitos’ de Deysi. (Day Care Center)  This center will provide childcare, nutritious meals, health care, etc. to the youngest of the program enabling moms to work, reenter school, or join one of our vocational programs all at no charge to the poorest of families.

I do not have a list of the volunteers going on this service team,. but please send me an email with your names, contact information and any blurb and I will be sure to include you in a post on this blog!
