Grace Amid Forward Progress

As the month has unfolded it has been jam packed with wonders. Our Honduran partner, Maria Elena and her husband Anthony have been in the states since early this month. They are visiting with friends, making new acquaintances and working diligently to promote the work that lies ahead for Daisy's Children. We have spoken at high schools, elementary schools, churches, PTOs, rotary clubs and there's still more to come as we wind up their stay. AS the voices of the children of Concepcion del Norte we have made every moment count. While they are visiting with the founder of AMIGOS, a feeding program started by another individual from Maine, much work is going on to coordinate the next events. November 29th will find us hosting a Shopping Spree at the Noggin Factory, an inviting shop filled with great educational toys, games, puzzles, books, and classroom notions. Got a teacher on your list or important child in your life? Stop by its Central Street, Dover, New Hampshire location during the evening of the 29th! You'll be able to cross a number of them off your list with proceeds to benefit the children in our programs. Also- if planning ahead- pencil in our Community Holiday Singalong, featuring the Funky Divas of Gospel as well as some of the children of SAD 60 at Noble High School Auditorium, North Berwick, Maine on December 10th. Intermission will feature snacks as well as a silent auction. Be looking for our featured ornament for 2011 on our website. The purchase of each ornament will provide for a new backpack to enable a child in Honduras the gift of hope through the opportunity to go to school. The idea of gifting forward......Keep checking as details unfold.
