Our time here draws to a close. We are at Hotel Ejecutivo, getting a good night's sleep. Ashley and Nicole will return to the states early by heading to the airport at 4:45am with Bruce and Pam Burnham. Amanda and I will be leaving closer to 1:30 or 2. We'll do a quick stop at Guamalito Market to pick up some ordered pottery samples for Daisy's Children. It's always surreal to switch worlds in either direction. Today we leave the mountainous terrain amidst the rain forest to head back to coastal Maine.My brain will take time to transition from thinking and talking in another language. It will take much more strength to transition between economic levels. Kisses, hugs, little faces, and locals all sent us off. Tomorrow will truly be a new day. Preparing for take off and landing in a cultural time and language warp.
